About Us

Welcome to The London Kurdish Film Festival

Who Are We?

The London Kurdish Film Festival (LKFF) is a cultural initiative showcasing Kurdish cinema since 2001. Supported by dedicated volunteers, we bridge Middle Eastern and Western audiences, fostering dialogue and understanding through powerful storytelling.

Our Mission

Our mission is to celebrate Kurdish heritage, empower filmmakers, and connect diverse communities through cinema. We strive to enrich cultural appreciation, highlight untold stories, and provide a platform for Kurdish voices despite political challenges.

What We Do?

We organize film festivals, screen world cinema, and support Kurdish filmmakers. Through screenings, discussions, and events, we promote cultural dialogue, storytelling, and artistic expression, bringing audiences together to experience the rich narratives of Kurdistan and its diaspora.
