Theater, cinema and TV series actor, Nazmi Kırık was born in 1976 in Diyarbakir. His professional career started at Mesopotamia Cultural Centre in Istanbul, training in theatre and dance. He was one of the founders of Seyr-i Mesel Art Workshop. Nazmi was arrested many times and prisoned for 7 months because of his cultural activities. Nazmi’s actor career started at ‘Journey to the Sun’which was Awarded for Blue Angel and Peace at Berlinale in 1999. Nazmi continued his acting career with Yuksel Yavuz’s ‘Small Freedom’in 2003, “Zero Kilometre’ directed by Hiner Saleem in 2005 which was awarded for the Best Actor. Nazmi continues to work as an Actor in many productions both in Germany and Turkey.
