A young teacher lives with his mother in a Kurdish-populated region of Istanbul, but when the two are forced to move out to the furthest outskirts of the city, the mother starts to believe her old neighbors have returned back to their village. With the desire to join them, she packs her bags every day and roams the city in search of her village. A song from the past reoccurs in her dreams fuelling her feelings of nostalgia. As the son attempts to help his mother, he also discovers his girlfriend is pregnant. Torn between the two women in his life, he must now make a decision between the past and the future. Awarded Best Film at the Sarajevo International Film Festival.
