During the nineties, a majority of young Iraqi Kurds migrated abroad to escape civil war and poverty. This film is drawn from real-life accounts, portraying methods of coping in times of displacement and nostalgia. The story is centered around an elderly mother and father, who want to record their lives and lessons on the video camera to send out to their son abroad. They hope to ease his isolation on foreign lands, yet the harsh reality of their existence penetrates through every angle.
