Within war and revolution, many become victims, while others hero. Names arise and cities fall, yet the struggle of women is often forgotten. Betasi delivers an intimate portrayal of the sacrifices one Kurdish woman endures throughout her journey after the collapse of the Kurdish Revolution in 1975. After leaving behind her Peshmerga military husband in Iraqi Kurdistan, she sets out towards Iran with her two children. But the quest for a better life leads her through refugee camps, where heavy prices are waıtıng to be paid. Her relentless battle in the face of threat delivers a story of exceptional courage.
