They Say We Worship Satan is a film about a Yazidi family surviving the horrors of ISIS. We meet the family by chance in Sinjar, Northwest Iraq in January 2014, seven months before the region is overrun. Following the invasion by Daesh we learn of the horrors the family have experienced as they try to flee: two daughters shot dead, four daughters enslaved, father killed. The film ends as their new life in Europe begins – with new challenges and uncertainties.
